I have a Pebble steel and Asus zenwatch 3. Both connect great but with pebble being bought out by Fitbit, the app works but cannot access the watch face library. Overall great.

Whatever smartwatch you use with your Key², if you get one with smart notifications I find this incredibly useful in a business environment or meetings where checking your phone is frowned upon.
I allow only certain notifications through, can get some emails from priority contacts, and reminders using Wunderlist. I honestly don't know what I did without one, apart from forget things a lot...

I agree. A small glance at your watch can help you notify you of an important reminder whilst in the heat of a meeting. And even silent alerts can be felt on the wrist.
A smart watch is a great piece of kit connected to the phone. I have a Sony smartwatch 2 that I used connected to a dtek50 before I got the K2. Checking on the Google playstore shows that a update has removed the function of reading messages from the phone, I did not update and have not tried it with the K2 yet. could this be a new policy from Google ?
Hey Think, I am using this AllCall W1, 45mm Chinese Smart watch and I like it. Mates well with my K2. Only draw back is the battery lasts only a day before needing charging. Paid, $140 CDN a couple of years ago. Does almost everything a Samsung does, except battery life. You can side load all watch faces too. Cheers,
Thank you for your input everyone. My main focus is notifications and running companion, but style is also very important to me.
I have the Garmin Fenix 3HR. If you're looking for a smart watch that you can use for running, I don't think you can do better than a Garmin. It does what you want and also has a battery life that will last for a week at a time. Most other smart watches can't touch the Garmin for its mix of functionality and battery.
I’ve used a Pebble, a Samsung S3 Frontier and an Asus ZenWatch 2 with my Key 2. I liked the look of the Pebble and was sorry to see it was discontinued. The S3 works very well, looks good (kind of big) and has a lot of app support. I really like the style of the ZenWatch 2. It works well for notifications but be advised that for some reason the Asus ZenWatch Manager app is not available from the Play Store in Canada. Also Asus ZenFit and Fit apps. I don’t know what other countries they aren’t available in.
