Nah. Maybe a couple of days difference in the update schedule. Should be about it but even that might not be the case as they're currently even - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1381535354

Thx, as a side note this was ordered from Amazon with a build date of 8/2018. So FWIW they are still clearing out older devices it looks like.

Well, I got mine setup. No issues that others are reporting. Also was able to seamlessly SIM swap on Verizon. All updates on the play store as well as OS are good to go.

And as a side note, if anyone wants a case suggestion..go with the Ringke Fusion. I go between case and no case...but Ringke is good!

If you are referring to @dendoron01 then its a Canadian Telus carrier device, FWIW.

I am assuming @gjh1978 is in the US and I concur that local Amazon inventory is not as new; I just purchased a new device and received a Sept build.

    True enough.

I was more pointing out that they are still making them as recently as last month.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but so far I have ZERO complaints on this Key2.

I bought the Ringke last year, however I haven't even used it once. IMHO the Key 2 really has great ergonomics and balance, it feels great and offers a secure grip - at least it does for me. I am glad BlackBerry or rather TCL went against the common, modern practice of creating a shell of fancy yet fragile materials which more or less require to be covered into a case.
