First of all dropping hardware, now they dropping software..facepalm.. Second, what alternatives you know or use for all BlackBerry apps?

Maybe there already are better apps and they just now realized "they are too late on those trains" or they just dropping their projects with no reason?

Not sure about the "all" part for either hardware or software...

Depends on what features you like the most. I switched last year to Microsoft's Suite of Apps... but more because of issues with HUB+ at the time, than they worked better.

They will continue to work as is for a long time to come. There just won't be any more updates.

I do use "Notables" quite a bit. What would a good replacement be? Google replacement would also be fine and probably streamline backup and restore. Thanks,

    No, Microsoft.
Does it backup? If so, to where? Sorry for the hundred questions.

    No problem

You log in with your Microsoft account, so everything is synced to your MS account and you can access your notes on any computer as well with either the desktop or web app.

Notable is for taking and editing screenshots. It should continue to work despite not being further developed.

Notes is for note-taking, and is still being developed.

OneNote is even better at taking, editing and organizing screenshots in notes than Notable.

Besides: if you need an app for business purposes "should continue to work" is not going to cut it. You of all people should realize that since you're always looking at things from a business perspective.

I use Google Calendar to replace BB Calendar due to GC allow dual date (lunar as the 2nd).

I use Google Phone instead of BB Phone since GP is v30 while BB is still v10, and GP work much better

I use OneNote and Google Keep to replace Notables (onenote been very good)

Productivity I dont use, I use widgets for some while others I group the icons in folder for easy access

For searching files I use Google File Manager, which comes with other features that I also need.

Only the Power Center I use ... and cant find a good alternative.

With PIE it's built-in and you won't need it.... which might be why they aren't further developing it.
