Ok I decided on this strategy. When the autoloader becomes available I will do a no wipe and evaluate if I notice all the same improvements as someone doing a full wipe. If necessary I will do a factory reset.

IMHO you just can't keep on doing full wipes all of the time. Just takes too much time setting up all over again.

Custom alerts. Custom led colors ... screen layout ... etc etc.

Yes I also have multiple accounts and I give them custom led colors and alerts. My bank app also has a security process to go through every time I reset my phone. Custom email signatures ... downloading and setting up apps, music and audiobooks ...

Luckily I keep a lot of things in the cloud.

Hey, I live in Chicago and I have the Latin America PRD. Bought from a third party company on Amazon. The only thing I find annoying with it (except that wifi calling doesn't work and that's not the device's fault) is that the update schedule, as we point out, is different.
