So the more I read the more the conclusion is the 128gb Key 2 will only be the dual sim model which seems like it will never be sold in the US. Yes I know I can import but don't really want to do that.

Even if it is, it won't be because BlackBerry Mobile put it there it. It'll be because retailers imported them and listed them just like they did with the Black Edition KEYone before it was officially sold in the US.

Probably not, you'd have better luck getting it working on T-Mobile or AT&T.
