    When receiving a Textra message in Hub it always shows as Read, even before the message was opened....

    Anyone?

    I just noticed tonight that Twitter and FB notifications coming in to the Hub are coming in marked read already. Emails are showing up properly. I also use Textra but haven't received any texts this evening to test that. Could be a Hub thing....

    It has to do with hub integration. I believe Textra has acknowledged the issue but also notes the fix has to come from blackberry.

    They have and stated it's a BlackBerry issue. However BlackBerry states it's an issue with Textra and not taking advantage of some background Api thing within Android that BlackBerry can't change. That is totally not the technical wording but something along those lines. And considering yaata doesn't have the issue, i tend to believe BlackBerry in this case.

    I have the same issues with Facebook Twitter and LinkedIn notifications as well. I get the notification from the specific app but in Hub it arrives already marked as read. So not sure who's to blame really.

    Does Yaata provide the same experience as Textra? In other words, does it integrate with Hub as seamlessly?

    I think this is true.....lots of banter when priv released about how Yaata integrates with Hub better than Textra. But i also seem to recall that Textra handles MMS more reliably.....so its sort of pick your poison.

    I'm on the textra beta (version 3.33) and they just took care of the unread/read issue in BlackBerry Hub.
