I just emailed BB with a suggestion to better implement the hub on android for BB android phones.

My suggestion is as follows:
"My suggestion, is to implement hub into the BlackBerry launcher itself, so that swiping to the right from the homescreen brings you into it, similar to that of BB10, in addition to long pressing the home button and choosing hub (as how it's setup now)"

This is effectively the same idea as how HTC has implemented it's Blinkfeed

Why not just use the swipe shortcuts (from the bottom) to open the Hub? it's better than your idea because it works from any screen.

You're right, I kept that in there in my email, but it doesn't feel 'baked in' like it did on BB10. This would give it that same feel
