Hi,

I would love to see the ability to customize shortcut for items in the Compose new screen in Hub. For instance we have e for email, s for sms, b for bbm. What about the ability to customize w for whatsapp etc.?

That is what the keyboard shortcuts do.

Open your app drawer, open the shortcuts tab on the right, then open keyboard shortcuts on the left. You can set long press and short press shortcuts. For example, I use short press M to open the Hub, and long press M to go straight to Compose Email.

what I meant is to have it to compose new item, not opening the app

I should specify that I'm using a Priv. I'm not sure how it would work on a virtual keyboard. With the Priv, the C key opens the Compose screen.

me too i'm using the priv. c key opens Compose screen. From there we have s for sms, e for email, and b for bbm. what I ask is to include customizable shortcut for whatsapp, skype ... as well
