As a BlackBerry Hub user with many accounts, I don't ever want to see message notifications in the Android Notification Tray. I prefer to use the Hub to scan all recent messages.

However, I do want to use the LED notifications to see when messages arrive from key accounts.

Is it possible to turn off notifications in the tray while still triggering the LED? In Hub settings, turning off notifications from an account collapses the menu with the LED color selector.

The whole reason for the LED is that it notifies the user when a message is waiting, and indicates by color which account. I hope using this important feature doesn't require me to accept more notification tray spam.

Go to Settings, then select an email account. Scroll down and disable ”Heads up Notifications". That should do it.

Thanks. I saw that setting but didn't know what "heads up notifications" meant.
