Have you re-booted your phone lately?

Many issues get cleared up when you do a 32 second re-boot - hold the power key down for 32 seconds until the phone reboots. This is the same as doing a battery pull.

Also clear your cache. If the cache gets up over 500 meg odd things can start happening.

Rebooted, cleared cache, cleared app data and added the account back already.

Ok, quick update. I disabled push and changed update time to 10 or 30 mins. Now everything works fine.
