I'm preparing to leave my passport and before I retire it I am looking for info on hub+ as I will probably buy it and run it on a Samsung s7 edge. I get a lot of work emails on my passport which I need to manage - forward, copy/paste passages into others ,etc. One great feature of the hub on my passport is the attachment option of hub attachment - where I can easily attach any file that is in an email message in my hub. Is this hub attachment feature available in hub+? I'm trying to avoid needing to save files to my device from one email and then using attach file as that is clunky.

It is not there yet but as per the Hub developers they are implementing that function.

I am looking forward to it..

Also the DTEK60 is coming out shortly.. It may be with it to have a look before buying a Samsung

Thanks for the info. If I am going to go all in with android I am going to do it with a premium device where the company is all in with the hardware. Blackberry is now a software company and I will gladly use their software but if they are not making their own devices/os then I will go with an established android manufacturer and I will try to make a premium android device as much like bb10 as possible. Of course if the BlackBerry hub+ is just a shell of bb10 hub than I might swallow my pride and go with an iphone7. Sad times indeed.

You are a power user, like me.

Sadly I have to warn you to be disappointed.

There is nothing in Android that comes close to the ease, efficiency and reliability of BB10 file management. I miss it fiercely.

Some will come along claiming this or that Android app offers the same functionality.

I've tried 'em all... and nothing comes close.

I beg to differ. I use file management a ton. I work remotely with only my smartphone a lot. And i loved the organic BB10 file manager and file workflow in BB10. Now i am using a Priv and Solid Explorer as my file management utility. It is way better than the BB10 file manager. It access cloud based files (I use Dropbox and OneDrive) way faster than BB10 file manager. It allows side by side instances and drag and drop to move/copy files. BB10 file manager was not nearly this good.

    Agreed.
Solid Explorer is great. I went through a number of file managers before settling on it for my Priv. Never looked back.
