Why can't I customize the LED notification colour for BBM and text message accounts in the HUB or Android settings? Only have ability to change email account colours.

You have to customize them within the App itself. So open BBM and dig around the settings there. It's there and allows you to change LED color.

Open BBM, click on "me" in the bottom right corner. Then go to "notification". Then you will see notification on. Click on that and you can change LED color in there.

I don't believe the stock text message app has the option. I use textra which does have the option.

On Android, the ability to customize notifications (sounds, led, and vibration) are based on an app by app basis.

You can control the email notifications though the hub, because the hub is an email client.

To change notifications for text messages, you need to check your text messages app, which the hub is not.

For bbm it's the same, for WhatsApp it's the same, etc, etc.

You need to ask the developers of those apps to add the ability to customize notifications for them.

Since the phone app is made by BlackBerry, I think they should let you customize LED's for: missed calls (only red now), private numbers, or for certain phone numbers. Unless, I forgot how to do it or where to do it, I don't think it can be managed now.

    Anybody remember BeBuzz pro? https://appworld.blackberry.com/webs...t/534/?lang=en
The customization that this app provides should be there natively. Especially the flashing disco lights for when my lady boss calls.

I heard good things about lightflow: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....lightflowlite
Let's have a look, but nevertheless, having a native option for LED customization = King. There are more apps that deal with this "issue", but I don't have the time to test them all, so I don't know which are good or bad....

I believe the phone app is actually just Google dialer.

However, you CAN go into your phone settings to adjust phone and text notifications.

I checked under every setting, couldn't find anything about it.
Does your KeyOne show something different?

Stock text message app doesn't have the option to adjust LED. Other apps do like Textra which is actually much better then the stock app anyway.

Huh, turns out the stock Google dialer doesn't have the option to change LED light, just sound and vibration.
