We have C for Compose; how about C to open the calendar when the 'upcoming events' shade is open?

That way the thumb is already on keyboard after the swipe down, one key stroke away from opening the calendar.

I really like this idea although I am not sure how easy it would be for the devs to implement.

I believe there should be a back end status or one can be created or maybe choose an In-Hub shortcut key other than C.

The reason I believe there is a back end status is because when the shade is open you are unable to access messages which means some code is blocking the tapping action at that particular state.

Here are some other useful keyboard shortcuts, primarily to assist with the items available from the upper right corner 3 dots menu which is ergonomically difficult to access:

    1. E - Refresh
    2. J - Search by Subject
    3. D - Search by Sender
    @LiamQ @max-bb

    For your consideration.

The mnemonic isn't very good, which makes it harder to justify a shortcut key. I'm also not convinced that these items are used that frequently.

The mnemonic I offered was just a suggestion. More importantly is the option to perform these actions via a keyboard shortcut.

I use 2 & 3 all the time! In fact these were requested features by many users here on CrackBerry that you guys added at some point so I can only assume that many are using them as well.

I requested a mod to create a poll! Let's see what the people say. Hopefully that will help to figure if that's a good idea at all.

    Thanks for responding!

E to refresh? Should be L, like on BB10.

Either way but we first need to convince @LiamQ that these shortcuts are a good addition!

I want a shorcut that makes selection mode in the hub, so I can move inside the hub with this selection (colour bar the selected item for example) and thought the pkb (up and down basically) and use other shorcuts in the selected item, like remove item, respond, etc...yes, it's like to make the old belt button with the pkb. At least the possibility of activating it.

It already exists with R (Reply), F (Forward), W (Flag) and Back (Delete)

It doesn't exist the capability of select one of the messages before use that shortcuts...for example If I use "a" to open menu, it's ok for me, I can go to the upper of the menu and foward...but cannot select any of the options with the pkb, the same for the hub, a colored selection when I use a key and the capability of move this selection without touch the screen (up and down), don't know if I'm explaining correctly, sorry English not my language.

How about being able to open an unread mail with <ENTER> after one jumped via already available "u" to the next unread mail in list.

    (3 year old suggestion btw.)

    PS: sorry RK_BB for hijacking

Not hijacking at all! That's a great idea!
