    Hi all,

The HUB is working fine on my Keyone except that for some people, it fails to display properly french accent. For example, transféré would display as transf«then the rest would be an inverted ? a 1/2 in small fonts, and so one» but not all the emails with french accents display like this for some the accent é or è is just fine...any clues?
    Thanks

Could you send a sample message that reproduces the issue to [email protected] ? If your webmail is Gmail, it would be great to also attach the original message that you can grab from the desktop Gmail site: menu -> Show original -> Download Original.

The problem is linked to the encoding at the source. The problematic mail have:
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1252; format=flowed
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

Whereas the non problematic email have:
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8; format=flowed
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

I will send it to the email you mentionned thanks (just did)

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem using those same email headers. Is it possible for you to share the actual email message that reproduces the issue for you? If you could attach the source of the message (including headers) in email to [email protected], that would be easiest.

If the protocol is Exchange, then the charset is handled at the server. That implies a server bug here.

I would expect it to affect every Exchange ActiveSync client. ActiveSync is used by mobile clients but not desktop clients.
