With the demise of BBMo and the uncertainty of any future BlackBerry branded devices, how long do you think BlackBerry will continue to develop the Hub+ suite of apps? Looking at the play store, Hub+ is at 1,000,000+ downloads, which likely translates into a few 100 thousand active users.

Thank you. I was just getting ready to ask the same thing. Even with its quirks, I'm not ready to give up on the Hub, Inbox, Contacts and Calendar yet.

I'd love for Samsung or Apple to just buy the Hub and integrate it deeply into the OS. I think BlackBerry would like that too!

Depends on the number of paid subscriptions. At best, it would be a low level of maintenance and minor iterative improvements.

I'm assuming everything BlackBerry/Android related will be winding down pretty soon. Even the Hub Suite developers have stopped responding in here and they used to be very active. I think everything is on its last legs unfortunately.

most apps were updated in November 2019 so yes there are still updates coming in

We must recognize that the only opportunities to earn income from the use of the Hub now only comes from non BlackBerry OEM phones. I wouldn't bet on a long term support existence.

HUB+ never fulfilled my expectations or perhaps never integrated perfectly with the android phone that I use a secondary device, phablet (or at least not as a phone). It is mostly a surfacing nostalgia that triggers me to continue to support it and I will continue to do so until it becomes EOL

If BlackBerry was not able to integrate Hub deeply into the OS, why should Samsung be able to do so? Google could. And Apple has any it's own OS in its hands and they could but they are not interested I would think.

People, like myself, don't want the Hub to go away but it seems like BlackBerry shows no interest in the product. Heck even on Crackberry the conversation is very little. Pretty much everyone has moved on.

Samsung is a much more powerful player than Google with a much larger Android development team. I suspect they could negotiate more effectively with Google and invest more in their launcher to improve the interface than BlackBerry Mobile Was able to do.
