Heya. I am on Android Q and the latest HUB beta. I experience the problem that emails which I delete in my HUB inbox do not delete on the server (365 exchange server) randomly.

This problem however does exists since my early Android Blackberry HUB times and it's not specific to Android Q.

I have not seen any pattern why this is happening sometimes. Sometimes I delete my messages from the Toast notifications sometimes I delete them directly in the inbox.

does anybody else have the same problem from time to time and what is the reason for that?

My email is IMAP on Comcast. I always have to use the stock Android email app to empty the Deleted Items folder. The HUB never, ever does. I've given up on it ever working properly.

    Android 9
    Inbox 2.1906.0.17296
    HUB+Services 2.1906.0.56587

Do you have the latest Hub+ Services and Inbox? Do you have the app set to delete both on the app and the server? Is the issue consistent or intermittent?

This is an old issue that was mostly rectifiedearlier this year.

BlackBerry Manager doesn't show any updates available.

    I'm not on Beta program.

    Hmmmm.......Where are those settings?

Are you able to see the supposedly deleted emails with putting the Inbox app in Search mode? If so, try deleting them from this view and let me know if they get deleted off the server as well.

Yes, I could see and delete them in Search.
No, they're still on the server until I empty the Deleted Items folder using the Android Email app or Outlook (desktop client) on my computer.

Got it. What happens when you delete emails using the OS notification tray?
