@LiamQ is is possible to add an Enter key function for rapid search in Contacts?
When you search a contact using Device Search and hit the Enter key it pops on the screen which is pretty handy as your thumbs are already on the keypad.
Wondering if the same can be implemented in the Contacts app.
I think many users press Enter to indicate that they're done typing their search term. They might be surprised to get the first item automatically clicked from pressing Enter.
Sorry, I am confused. Maybe I am missing something.
What purpose does Enter serve when searching a contact in the Contacts app? Or in other words what indication pressing the Enter key gives to the app / user?
To my knowledge / experience it does nothing.
It does nothing, but I think that some users would instinctively press Enter at the end of their search term, as they would when using a Web browser.
Ah I see your point now. Well, they need to get used to my new idea!
