Ever since they updated the look of Hub+ Inbox to version 2 it doesn't integrate with android text messages or whatsapp. The only time texts and whatsapp messages show up in the hub is if they were received. When I send a message through hub to whatsapp or android text messages it doesn't show up in hub. Also when I delete a text or whatsapp message from within the hub, it doesn't delete the message in the native app also like it used to in version 1 of the hub app. Is there a fix for this or is it just how it works now? Cause if I can't send/receive/delete all messages/notifications from one place like the Hub app is advertised then I don't need it anymore.

Old news....multiple threads...and, yeah, it sucks. Short story is Google changed something. I'll let you find and read the longer versions.

There was no change to the integration of WhatsApp. Hub has read-only access to messages that come through the notification tray. Hub can't access sent messages since they don't go through the notification tray. Android does not provide a way for Hub to delete messages in third-party apps like WhatsApp.

The integration of text messages changed due to a Google Play policy change described in https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/0...d-by-millions/

BlackBerry Hub+ Services no longer has access to the SMS database, so the integration of text messages is now similar to the integration of WhatsApp, with similar limitations.

BlackBerry Hub+ Services 1.6.2.53586 is the last production version before the Google Play policy change. You can find that APK on a site like APKMirror and load it using adb. You don't have to downgrade other apps; the latest versions of apps like BlackBerry Hub+ Inbox still work with BlackBerry Hub+ Services 1.6.2.53586.

Are there BlackBerry Phone and SMS apps? No, however, you still have the stock Android apps, so those communication tools are not missing.

I mean, BlackBerry should have their own app as bb10 or OS7... which is you can simply push number pad of PKB to call someone. Send sms much easy especially when you busy.

The Android app. OK. Better than nothing.

The current BlackBerry package of app is missing those two parts.

Ahhh......gotcha, and I totally agree. I believe there are several threads discussing why BlackBerry built phone and text apps for Android are unlikely to happen.
