I'm beginning to think the article is ahead of schedule. The app is not even live on Google play.

I've read the description. Sounds like a Google Keep alternative and I don't see any clear benefits over Notes, Tasks, Onenote or Keep.

It obviously went live before it was supposed to. Expect it to disappear and reappear.

We should have known it was too good to be true when an Inside BlackBerry article got published on a Saturday. Then again, who can blame us? We all have Mercury fever at the moment.

the descriptor for it has gone now, what's it going to do? Like Evernote for example?

And, is it a bb app, that is made by bb?

Notable App for Android Lets You Scribble Down Your Best Ideas

Luckily for me – and for you – BlackBerry has just released Notable, another great app part of the BlackBerry Hub+ Suite of applications.

Notable is a content creation and sharing app that allows you to quickly capture content on screen, mark it up with text or free-form drawing tools, and share it with friends and colleagues.

The screen capture can be triggered from your device’s convenience key, through a custom swipe gesture shortcut, or by tapping the dedicated screen-capture notification in the notification tray. From there, you can mark up the content you captured in the app – you can draw on it freely, add text, or even add stickers to call attention to something specific.

After you mark up your content, it’s easy to send it to your friends via the Android share framework or through apps including Evernote, Hub, BBM, and OneNote. ....

    Wonder how we free-form draw?

And wow .... I like the sound of this, and it's part of the BlackBerry Hub+ Suite of applications.

Can I use a pen on my priv? Oh? What sort of pen do I get, would you know?

Thinking it through, I wondered if the free form drawing tools were a tap and use type of utility, so tap on say a line shape and then with the finger pull or push or whatever and a line will draw ....

    Here - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...blackberry.jot

I'm assuming it will eventually become available as part of the Hub+ Suite. I root installed it on my Oneplus One, works great. Sort of like Blackbery's version of the MockIt app.

You can also grab the apk file here - BlackBerry Notable 1.0.0.1805 APK Download by BlackBerry Limited - APKMirror
It will only install on the Priv, or if you have root access on any other android device.

So will try to use this instead of pixlr to post my modified screenies.

Can't get Comfort-Key to work on PRIV (guess they haven't done a mapping of middle key to be Comfort-Key like on TCL-devices so far but taking screenshot from notification menu works - after setting permission in the popup - not DTEK.

Would be nice to have an option for "taking screenshots in notification area" ONLY if Notable is really launched. Now it's an always on notification cluttering even if Notable is closed (can be handy for some, but like to have options).

So enough whining for a new free app of blackberry.
