When I add a gmail.com account with 2FA to the BB Hub, it authenticates me presumably via OAuth, by accepting my regular Gmail 2FA password and pushing a 2FA request to my device.

When I add a non-gmail.com Gmail account (from a "free," legacy G Suite domain) with 2FA to the BB Hub, rather than using OAuth, it rejects my regular 2FA password. The error message instructs me to use an "application password," which is the less-secure way of authenticating on a non-OAuth-compliant client, bypassing 2FA.

If Hub is capable of OAuth with Gmail, why won't it work with my non-gmail.com Gmail account? Is there no way of getting Hub to access my G Suite account using 2FA? (The answer isn't to use Active Sync, which is not available for "free," legacy G Suite accounts.)
