yes, FB messenger Lite is WAYY better! it takes up maybe 24mb total on my KEYone! and it is NOW available thru the Play store in the US!

I use the widget full screen to the left of the homepage to mimic BB10. A lot of the time when I swipe over to check it, the widget is blank and just says something like "tap for more conversations" at the top. Then a lot of the time, the widget will not update properly and still shows messages as unread or completely absent from the hub. I think it may be something to do with replying to messages from the "banner" or "toaster" notifications that pop up on the top of the screen.

Thanks. We have some widget performance improvements that we're testing for our December release. I'm optimistic that these improvements will make those issues go away.

The voicemail transcriptions and the ability to listen to them. Or perhaps just a notification that leads you to the app.

If these transcriptions show in the tray notifications, we might be able to show something that will take you into the app, but again it's hard since we don't have the ability to use Google Voice here.
