Motion is an Octacore 2GHz, 8x2GHz. Evolve X is an Octacore 4x2.2GHz and 4x1.8GHz. So four cores better and four cores worse than the Motion's processor. Would this phone even be an upgrade for the Motion from the perspective of the processor?

Yes, it's an upgrade. Clock speed isn't everything, otherwise the Pentium 4 would still rule the roost.

Interesting information about the 660 processor and about progress. It's already ahead of older 800 series processors. A good chipset for our Blackberrys

    BlackBerry should have gone for
SD636 for Evolve at 22000 rs
SD710 for Evolve X at 30000 rs , and even release a mini or compact evolve phone with 5 inch screen and SD450 at below 15000 Rs in India.

    Hahahahaah 😜
    Good one Bro !
I didn't ask for too cheap price!
Optiemus should look into the market.
Many Chinese brands lead here in Indian market. Leave them aside Oneplus is offering SD845 at 35000 Rs and Nokia offering SD 636 at 15000 Rs.

If you don't buy-in to the security angle, and aren't willing to pay a premium for it, there really is no reason to look at the Evolve.

It will NEVER come close to winning a price/spec race.

Not sure what security will optiemus provide in Evolve models, as they don't have complete service centers and no proper updates.
We totally agree that BB will not match spec to price ratio, but it applies only when the support is strengthen.

    You are right!
Needs to increase the service centers and people should be able to see the live devices at the electronic stores.

Evolve is being a indian BB model, still i don't see any unboxing on YouTube. Finally a Russian unboxed it.
This is what optiemus giving importance to evolve.
To be frank, without marketing no company will survive.
I don't like to point out BB, but on same time we must agree the fact.
