I just received my evolve purchased on ebay - wow and amazing packaging!!!

I am in the US but just have November update, No January - any advice on how to get it? is does not show on updates - no sim in phone currently - i tried over wifi ... any advice? please help

Suggest you try inserting a sim and checking whether the device works.

Thanks . There was an article from Blaze 3 weeks ago and a tweet from BB India in Jan 7 telling everyone a January update was released. Did you download that update?

I think you will find that the article mentioned that an update was available, I don't recall it specifying it being for January however we did get one in January and that was the November patch and was in excess of 400 mb and improved the camera function.

Ok thanks, I interpreted both the article and the tweet by BB India that it was an update with January security patches being that it was published first week of Jan . Wishful thinking i guess

Amaroni said the same thing. Everyone understands last update one year ago. If Optiemus pays it’s outstanding bill, updates would come.
