Even the same processor or an little updated one with dual cam. It should be priced at 20k. As u know redmi and honor phones price at 15k.

Don't expect them to compete with Redmi/Honor.
At best you could expect something like the Moto X4 with the BlackBerry premium.

Hmmm. If the price and spec matching to motor x4 will be a decent one, but again release date should be quick, else other mobiles will release updated spec in that spec.

I don't see it releasing before April end - May starting.
They shouldn't be going anything below the 636. But then you never know

Based on the spec and price keeping for the first optiemus blackberry phone will decide it's future in India. But instead of releasing slabs, they should launch a vkb with 20k budget which will make more ppl to try...

Plus, I wonder how will Ghost and Ghost Pro differ. I hope Ghost is premium too. Not too big devices is better. But if the Pro version has SD845, I will be all over it.

My guess is 625 and 660. Or both 625 with varied memory and storage.

This is for India don't forget.

I can be sure it won't be the 625.
Maybe something like the 630 or 636. But definitely not the 625.

According to the original leaked info for the "pro":

"Owing to the fact that this is going to be the Pro variant in the Ghost lineup, we can safely assume that the device will feature a better processor (the original Blackberry Ghost is going to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC). We can expect 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage considering the company’s history of earlier smartphones."

Well actually Snapdragon 625 is bad journalism. I think the original goes like this.

The leak from @EVLeaks says that the phone will be a "premium" device -- but what that really means remains to be seen. BlackBerry phones in 2017 featured decidedly midrange chips -- the BlackBerry KeyOne offered a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625.
We expect the so-called BlackBerry Ghost to feature a similarly midrange chip, though that also remains to be seen. It's likely that the chip will be coupled with a modest amount of RAM.

I don't think Evan would call it a premium device with a mid-range processor. Just my 2 cents.

They mashed up the article with the KEYᴼᴺᴱ specs. Even quoted the price as ₹39,990 which was actually the launch price of the KEYᴼᴺᴱ.
I am almost certain it won't ship with the 625. The normal or the pro version.

    If this site is credible.

    https://m.gadgetsnow.com/mobile-phones/Blackberry-Ghost

The Blackberry Ghost mobile features a 6.0" (15.24 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and runs on Android v8.0 (Oreo) operating system. The device is powered by Octa core, 2 GHz, Cortex A53 processor paired with 6 GB of RAM. As far as the battery is concerned it has 3500 mAh. Over that, as far as the rear camera is concerned this mobile has a 13 MP camera Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor supporting a resolution of 4128 x 3096 Pixels and the front snapper is powered by a Exmor-RS CMOS Sensor. Other sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope. So, does it have a fingerprint sensor? Yes, it does. For graphical performance that can make games run smoothly, this phone has got a Adreno 506 GPU. On board storage is at 64 GB with the option to expand the memory by Yes Up to 256 GB.

Amoled QHD display with SD 625 doesn't make sense. So probably fake.

If that's true, then the regular Ghost is just a larger and somewhat improved (more RAM/storage, Oreo) Motion. Which was kind of what was rumored, anyway.

Don't think it is true. SD 625 doesn't support 2K resolution.

Releasing a SD 625 in the second half of 2018 is a suicidal act.

Many new devices are being released with 400 series SoCs. It's arguable as to which is better.
