USB-c to VGA
Hello group. I just switched from a Z30 to DTEK60. With the Z30 I used a micro HDMI to VGA adapter to play PowerPoint presentations on a classroom projector. I know there is such a thing as a USB-c to VGA adapter available for Mac Books etc, and I'm wondering if anyone has used it with the dtek60. There are also adapters out there that go from usbc to HDMI and DVI as well as display Port. Anyone tried one yet? I'm also concerned about charging with the adapter but I can't see that working.

There is nothing about video output via USB-C in BlackBerry's specifications for the DTEK60.
You can output audio & video with Google Cast, but you would need a Google ChromeCast dongle and an HDMI input on the projector.

From my experience and what I read HDMI not compatible with Dtek60. I have tried the Apple adaptor and it Does Not Work for HDMI, but it does work with Audio out with USB Dac as long as you use Onkyo HD(free) or USB Pro Audio($) app.
The only way to show video is being through Streaming is Casting like other has posted. TV that has Miracast or get Chromecast.

Thanks for the info. I kind of figured that would be the case. Guess that's how it goes. Get a new phone that is improved in some areas and lacks in others. The chrome cast thing won't work convenienty as although the projector has an hdmi Port I'd have to climb a ladder to get to it. If I figure something else out I'll post an update. Haven't given up yet.
