I'm thinking of going with the DTEK60, from my Z30. Now I really love the way the Z30 keyboard operates especially the predictive words for texting. Can anyone here who has a DTEK60 compare the typing of the two. Thanks

It comes with the BlackBerry VKB by default. It's roughly the same.
Didn't have the z30, but it's almost the same as my old leap. Apart from a few tweaks. I chop and change with the gboard just to change the colour now and then.
I went from the Z30 to the PRIV and then to the DTEK60 and I must say the dtek60 and Z30 are more similar than the PRIV. Just didn't have the same accuracy on the PRIV (VKB) as the others.
Transition is really easy from z30. Juts as smooth and in fact I would argue even better now with the DTEK 60 vkb.
I have both Z30 and DTEK60 and accuracy and speed is much better on Z30, otherwise the keyboards and gestures are very similar.

I switched from the Z30 and I can tell you it's exactly the same. I've set-up the keyboard with the exact functionality and layout as the Z30. You'll love it! ;-)
From my experience the BlackBerry Virtual keyboard on BB10 is far superior to that of the Android variants when it comes to auto correct and word suggestions. Flick typing is there and works well.
However, that is the beauty of Android. If you don't like it, you can download a different keyboard from the play store. I've chosen G Board, which is Google's stock keyboard. You can even change the theme colours for the keys, so you can make it black to emulate BlackBerry's keyboard. It also has some cool features like integrated Google search straight from your keyboard. It works well when you're arguing with a friend about something and you can quickly Google the answer while staying in your conversation;).
I find the DTEK60 excellent to type on. However it's a bigger phone and I've had to learn to text with two thumbs, which is much easier than I thought.
LOL I've been typing with 2 thumbs since my first BB back in 2005. Even on my works Microsoft phone. It doesn't matter, muscle memory now.
