And to make things more confusing about the DTEK60, read the final paragraph in this article:

What about it? BlackBerry already mentioned there would be more DTEK devices. Hence the DTEK50/DTEK60 and whatever Mercury will be say DTEK100 lol.

Ok, perhaps I was confused. I did not think that every model from here on in would be a DTEK, including a keyboard phone.

And on the box the K in dtek** will be green to highlight the keyboard (or so I read or imagined)

And then you woke up? Lol. I would love a pkb dtek60 specced droid. That would be awesome.

Well it would sure make for some publicity for Blackberry if all of sudden they released the PKB model! But that would have been leaked by now.

If DTEK60 had a PKB, no hesitation with the upgrade/purchase

What is it about the writer's expectation that the keyboard model will use the same DTEK name as the 50 and 60 that is confusing?

When have we seen the same naming convention for physical and touch keyboards?

It's clear that BlackBerry's main focus is mobile security software. Since DTEK and security are key to how BlackBerry markets its Android phones, we can't be too surprised if Mercury gets the DTEK name as well.

Are you sure? Say "DQ" out loud and tell me it still won't matter.

I actually think that naming system is a lot better than the crappy names they have been coming up with for the recent Android phones.
