Can anyone with both an Alcatel 60 and a BlackBerry Z30, along with a decent camera/microphone do a music playback quality comparison test?

Be interesting to see how they compare.

And it's based on a TCL 950 with many changes inside and out.

Those anecdotes would be interesting but probably not very useful.

I have both devices. Ran the same audio tracks on both. Volume about the same. Quality about the same, apart from the DTEK60 having better low frequency response - a little less tinny.

    So, edge to DTEK60.

How are the speakers compared to a Passport/Priv/Q10 etc.? When playing music for example? I find most Droids to be too quiet. The Wife says my Passport is "too loud" but I can't hear her Xperia at all when we're outside for example.
