Security updates - BlackBerry Support
Like many here I haven't received any security update on the DTEK since May. So yesterday I decided to take this up with BlackBerry help on twitter.
They asked for my IMEI and checked if it was eligible. After that they gave me the regular BS of carriers scheduling the updates and blablabla.
So I decided to involve the different carriers twitteraccounts I own a simcard of. They confirmed they don't do any check of android security-updates pushed by a hardware vendor.
All of a sudden I got a PM from BlackBerry help to contact Tech-support by phone. They created a ticket after I explained what was going on. I'll keep you all posted about the outcome.
