I am wondering for those using a Dtek 60 with Rogers service, any connectivity issues? How do you find the LTE speed?
If Rogers isn't planning on selling or supporting the device will there be any issues in this regard?

An unlocked DTEK60 on Rogers will work exactly the same as it would if it was locked to Rogers.

Likewise I bought an unlocked phone and it seems to work fine as ever (or anything else I've had) with Rogers.

DTEK60 on Rogers in Calgary. Works the same as any BlackBerry device for last 15 years.

Thanks everyone. I have never had a problem with past devices ever since my 8900 curve plus 5 others. Just the '60 would be the first that Rogers wasn't also selling.
Feedback, other than lack of carrier support, on the device sounds great so far.

I'm with Rogers in Ontario, no problems what so ever. I by my phones unlocked and just put in the sim card. I had to go to a Rogers store to get a nano Sim card as my Z30's card was not the right size. The Dtek60 is a great phone. Take care

I've also upgraded my phone from a locked Z30 to an unlocked Staples Dtek60 and have had zero issues. Went to Rogers for a replacement nano sim to exchange my previous micro sim.

The only problem that I'm having now is that I am having a hard time Unlocking my Rogers Z30. Tried several online sites and they haven't been able to do it! Arrrrggghhh!!

If you can't find an online site/code that works, Rogers will unlock your Z30 - for a fee of course.

I am with Rogers in Quebec. They cannot add my dtek60 imei in their system, so I think I cannot get the full lte speed. And I do not have access to the VoLTE and Wi-Fi calls.

Other than that, the phone is working well.

Got a new sim from a Rogers store and transferred the card number from my Z10 using the Rogers online system. No problems at all and the phone is working well for data, text and calls on my old plan.

Why would they need to add your IMEI to their system? That's bull****

Doesn't make any sense. As long as it's an unlocked phone which it is there should be no issues. Same as any other unlocked Android.

I'm on Sask tel here in Saskatchewan and have had no problems switching the sim from my PP to the 60. No reworking my contract plan which is great. Should have been buying unlocked phones a long time ago.

Yeah, I know, but this is the reason they told me why the VoLTE is not present in my phone settings and why I cannot do Wi-Fi calls.

To my knowledge, wifi calling is only available on certain cellphones. With Bell, only the iPhone is supported. Rogers, it's seems that only the iPhone and certain Samsung and LG phones

yeah that's odd. shouldn't need IMEI at all. it's a GSM phone. pop in sim card and away you go.
