Hey guys,

I got a bit of water damage on my DTEK60 and half of my screen is dead. It's ******* difficult to find Blackberry replacement parts here in Brazil and even when you find, it's almost worth it to buy a new phone.

I'm thinking about buying the Idol 4S screen to replace my dead screen. Anyone here has ever done that? Tips and advices will be most helpful!

I thought I had answered this. I don't think they use the same screen. You probably can't. Phone Arena listed idol 4 s as AMOLED and dtek60 as not.
I thought idol 4 s also has lower resolution but I am not sure.

I agree, I don't think they are the same screen, so it may have different ribon connectors or clips. However you never know til you have them in hand. Maybe have both laying face down to do some comparisons, would be nice if it was a cheap replacement with lower resolution lol better battery life! Oh, the DTEK60 is AMOLED
