Replaced Battery in DTEK60, lost quick charge!?!?
Hey Guys,
My battery on my DTEK60 was barely lasting a day after over a year of heavy use, which is to be expected. So I order a new battery from EBAY, the EXACT same model that was currently in my DTEK60, except it was a replacement for the IDOL 4S.
Battery Model - TLp030F2 ($39.99 from Ebay)
Replacing the battery wasn't hard at all, just used a hair dryer to heat up the glue around the edges then used the proper plastic pry tools and it came right off. Popped in the new battery no problem and connected it no problem. Put the backing on, and used the adhesive that was already there, headed it up and pressed hard. Perfect fit.
HERE'S THE ISSUE :
Now when I charge it, I've seem to have lost the quick charge capability!?! What the heck, why would this happen if it's the EXACT same battery, am I missing something? Everything else works just fine however, it's taking 3+ hours to charge when my old battery is about 1h with my Qualcomm 3.0 Charger & Cable.
Any thoughts or ideas to help?
Thanks!
