    I recently upgraded from a Z30 to a DTEK 60 and love it...
    But i am confused and getting conflicting information....how is the battery status line supposed to work...

    you mean that annoying green line that shows when it's charging? I just turned it off. it's just a pointless charging indicator

    I kind of like it while charging. I don't see what's conflicting about it. You have three options.
    1. Off
    2. On
    3. Only when screen is on.

    I would love it if some bright developer would create an app to turn the charging light into an alternate notification light.

    The battery edge displays current battery charging status.

    However, when ambient light drops below a certain threshold (whether in a shadow or the lights turn off) then it will turn off so as to not pose a lighting disturbance.
