I'm having an issue with my DTEK60 which I brushed off at first but is now beginning to annoy me. Every time I boot my phone, the OS makes me enter a pin before it actually starts the OS (which is great, I asked it to do this in the security settings)

But then once the actual lockscreen is loaded and I go to unlock it, it asks me to re-enter my pin but instead of allowing me right away it makes me wait 30 and sometimes upwards of 120 seconds before an attempt as if I got it wrong a bunch of times before.

It's becoming increasingly annoying over time and I'm beginning to get fed up. Is this happening to anyone else or is this some sort of isolated incident?

Have you tried turning off the "Pin on Boot" setting for a while just to check if it is that setting or if it is the regular Pin setting. I guess I don't worry about on Boot, since it still needs the password once it is locked.

I have a Priv so things might be slightly different.
