Can you give us an idea of how close you are to the subject? Are you able to see all the details in the picture with your regular eyes?

The flies are size 12, about 1.5 cm (5/8") in length. No I can't see all the details with my eyes, I use magnifying glasses too see them and I was about 5 to 7.5 cm (2-3") from objects.

Apparently there is a lot of nose in low light and pics come out dark. Click below to check out pics with low light. Priv vs DTEK60. Priv looks way better in low light.
The lens isn't letting enough light to enter the lens before snapping the shot. I guess you can change the settings and delay the shutter speed to let more light in. I'm not sure, take this with a grain of salt.

Sometimes we just have to wait for camera updates to come.

You're probably right. Lets hope an update fixes that. I prefer having nice low light photos, which are most of the cases when I take a picture.

This has really stopped me from buying so far. Those low light shots on the DTEK60 Are pretty bad, but some have a good shots with low light. Hopefully BlackBerry can resolve this issue with updates.

A good camera on a phone these days is a must, no excuses.

I think otherwise but I use it very little and I am not very demanding in that department. I love my HTC one m8 camera but every one says it sucks.

Not sure if these will look like they do on my phone, they are compressed down from the original 8mb file size, all shots were just on AUTO

Awesome. I feel like the camera software has a problem focusing. It looks like sometimes it confuses the background with the subject and blurs both. Does anyone see this?
There is the ability to select the focus zone on screen and it will lock in that point. As well there is the option to force the camera to focus before shutter release.
