There is more than one way to change the exposure. These sorts of comparisons are misleading. Try taking the same picture with the same camera 5 times with a slightly different focus / exposure point selected.
The point is no one should have to do all this work to try and get a good picture. You should be able to pick up the phone, point and shoot without fussing with different angles and focusing procedures just to get a good shot, My Priv seems to be able to do that better even though the shutter release is slower and my S7 Edge's focusing is basically instant and get a sharp picture 99% of the time without having to do anything other than point and shoot.

So far the DTEK60 looks to have the same noise like the DTEK50. What is the use of a 21MP camera ?
    To enhance the noise? LOL

I always touch on the screen where I want to focus/expose the photo. Always. Regardless of smartphone or camera.

Actually those pics look pretty good. I guess with some software updates the camera will improve a lot more.

The Dtek50's photos look better than the 60 imo
Kinda hard to tell the difference, bu the DTEK50's pictures to look a bit more vibrant.

    Pictures taken with the DTEK60-img_20161101_1519266.jpg

I took this today, the only light sources being the window and a desk lamp, indirect. I used the camera settings to achieve this outcome. So not bad.

It's like the camera has gotten better somehow from the first few days. How come your picture doesn't look blurry when you upload it to CrackBerry?
