So, a few months ago I switched from my Z30 to a Sony Xperia X Performance. I remember there was some hype about the Paratek antenna that the z30 had, but I never really thought it would prove meaningful. That initial hypothesis was way off (Samsonite) and I learned that inside the multiple layers of concrete in the referee room at my local hockey rink where everyone else had no reception, I always had full service on my z30. I figured maybe they all just had different carriers, and my t-mobile was just good in there. Now I'm on my Sony with the same t-mobile sim card, and I have zero reception!!! It turns out the Paratek antenna was legit.

Do the BB android devices have Paratek antennas?

It will be interesting to see if they use it in the Mercury.

The DTEK 60 does not have a paratek antenna. I have a DTEK60 and the reception is crappy, just like all the other phones that don't have it. I often have to walk around to find enough bars to receive, send or make a call. This is THE one bit omplaint I have about the DTEK60.
