You guys do know about the risk of "undisclosed" bootloader commands, right? They've been found in a few devices already...... allegedly a "mistake."

    Uh huh...... :-)

(One of the reasons you buy a BlackBerry, by the way.... such nonsense isn't there!)

The ZTE does look interesting, but for the risk of that AND that you can't unlock the bootloader, which means you can't mitigate it by loading your own firmware (E.g. CM that you compiled personally.)

    WoW 64 GB RAM.
    isn't that better than 32GB?
you know, you're funny... you'll put forward some specs like they are premiums, and you'll toss some because you decide they're not worth anything...
    32 vs 64, who cares?
    Better sound, who cares?
    bigger battery, who cares?

but BB, well, that's something that puts the DTEK front line...
let's forget it's a chinese phone, let's not talk about that.

You meant storage, not memory. Hence the joke.

Let's take it down a notch, Usman is pointing out a discrepancy in your statement - it's pretty clear you meant "Device Storage" and not RAM; no mobile device produced has 64 GB RAM - that's desktop territory. As he said, the most RAM in today's mobile devices is 6 GB with a couple equipped with 8 GB.

    To clarify:

RAM = Random Access Memory. Temporary storage for running apps. Loses any stored data in the event of a loss of power such as rebooting or shutting down.

ROM = Read Only Memory. Used mainly for hardware level programming because it's difficult to update; this is where the boot and hardware information is stored.

Device storage is where the operating system and user data resides, on a mobile device this is solid state but is not volatile (doesn't lose data) like RAM will when the power is cut.
