Repost and also ask Priv people..

Hey, here's a couple question for those that have it.

    1) The lockscreen notifications, are they 'individual' like BB10 used to be, or are they grouped like Android (where it will say like 3 new emails, instead of just having 3 seperate notifications, one for each)?

I hate the grouped deal, it ruins the whole idea of just looking at your lockscreen when it lights up, as you have to click to expand, you might as well just go to email and look at that point. I really like individual notifications like BB10 has/had. Screen lights up, you can see a preview of each email.

    2) How does the virtual keyboard compare to BB10's keyboard on like a Z30?

#1.. bb10 is fantastic that way.. don't think android 6.0 shows notifications like bb10.. maybe there are ways to get it similar.

#2 from my 24 hr experience not much different.

Bummer, so the notifications are grouped as per Android eh? Dang, that's what made me swtich to iphone, got sick of those types when driving, you have reach, click, unlock screen and go to app. Where my Z30 or my iphone just plain shows you each one right when it lights up.

OK, so keyboard is good then, just as good as on BB10, that part is good.

    thanks!

Doesn't feel like a phablet to me.
Me either, size difference is minor. That screen though, how I've missed the amoled.

Personally, I think they have a home run with this phone. Looks, size, everything. Even the stock cases available are really nice. Great phone and I haven't even got my new sim yet.

Hey just for the record, on googleplay, the app 'slidelock' (tried it on my Android, non BB) gives seperate lock screen notifications, I 'think' it should work on blackberry android too if anyone is like me, and prefers seperated individual notifications.

For those of you who have received your DTEK 60, did it come with a pre installed screen protector?

The stock background does not do the screen justice from what I can tell. Wonder why they didn't use the blue one from the priv or something else to give the colors some punch.

Stock background is awful, first thing I changed 😂 I'm using the WPClockfrom Google play store. Very nice indeed, really shows off why the amoled is so good.

It's a learning curve....makes me miss my passport and BB10. For me BB10 flows so much better than Android. I miss the pp keyboard. I hope I can fall in love with this as I did with all my other BB's.

It should be under the display settings, enable lift to wake .. Pretty sure it's there for the priv, not sure on the dtek60 tho.

Do you have the stock messenger app? I don't think you can change the chat bubble colors, but I know you can change the contact color. Forgive me if I am inaccurate I'm saying this; I haven't had messenger for a while. Now , I use Textra, and it is completely more customizable than the stock messenger app.

Just returned home from my trip and my DTEK60 was here! Finished setting it up a couple of hours ago. I like it a lot. This phone is fast. Still holding on to my Passport to make sure I like this before I turn off and put my Passport away. We will see. I will give it a full two weeks.
