    If your enjoyment of the DTEK60 is solely predicated on the hopes of receiving Nougat, then, yes, you may wish to consider something else.

    If you own a DTEK and it is meeting your needs... keep using it until it doesn't.

    If you own a DTEK and there is some feature in Nougat or Oreo that you need or feel would improve your security.... yeah it's time to move on.

    What I think is that this should be an lesson to all... don't buy a product from a company who's future is in question.

    BlackBerry phones were top dollar prices but have no upgrade treatment like cheap Chinese phones I would see at the Hong Kong Electronic fair each year. just like those cheap phones, BlackBerry phones have poor resale value
