Regardless we've got some pretty good idea of what to expect ahead, and as some say "IF" it makes to market. Really need some more oomph though. Can't be just a bland exterior if it's going to be a flagship all-touch phone.

Agreed as well. I don't think 3000mah will get you through an entire day. They need to increase that battery. Android is a power hog and that display will be sucking up juice like crazy.

Well still quite some time now and until purported launch day sometime in October to insert a better battery IF NOT yet in production already....

Totally agree, I hope BlackBerry puts at least 3500mah. Priv has 3400 and it smaller display. The DTEK60 should have a bigger battery than the Priv.

The new Umi Plus will have 4000mah battery. BlackBerry should be aim for that size given the specs of the DTEK60. My 2 cents. Looking forward to this phone as this will replace my Z30.

With QC3, you just need to give it a couple quick blasts during the day and you'll be perfectly fine.

I agree but I'm so used to going all day with my Z30 using it pretty hard and still have 20% remaining at 12midnight. I don't want to become like the iPhone users where they are constantly wall huggers.

You never know I might get a full day of pretty hard usage out of the DTEK60. I don't usually play games. I'm just always using email, text, browsing and checking CB app most of the time. I'm mostly a communications user, not a gamer so maybe I will be able to get a full days worth out of the 3000mah battery. We will soon see.

I'd like to be a bit of a hybrid guy and be able to multi-task while still have access to the entertainment and consumer side of things, a communications user also needs to break. :P

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm afraid that's the price anywhere between $599 and tops $699. The exchange rate kills us. If it was par with the US as it once was we would be looking at $499. Now that sounds like a deal. Damn CDN. Dollar, always messing things up for tech goodies.
