Hello all , I'm thinking of buying a dtek60 , I have one question. How do I mute a video while playing if the mute button is gone? On all bb devices I've owned have always had the mute key between the volume rockers
how about pausing the video?
This shouldn't stop you from getting a DTEK60....
How do you pause without taking the phone out and looking at it? I would do this with the play/pause button (don't know why people keep calling it a mute button...) on my BB10 phones while it's still in the holster or wherever it may be. Is there a way to do that without that button?

You can also program the convenience key to the short cut "Media Volume"
Can the convenience key be mapped to actually play/pause? I don't want to mute and have the media still playing in the background... Would like to be able to pick it back up where I left off.

In the original post you said you wanted to "mute" the video which is why I offered my suggestion of using the shortcut. Sounds like you want to play/pause video while still in holster? Could you explain why?

Because I'm not the original poster??

I have to ask though, why do people call it a "mute" button? No BB phone has ever had a mute button between the volume rockers. Mute and pause are completely different things and BB phones always had a play/pause button...
