Been 2 weeks since I switched from my OS10 Classic the DTEK60.

As this is my first touch-only phone, I'm still getting to grips with the switch. Practically impossible to use it with one hand.

Was wondering whether the front LED indicator is multi-colour or not, like the BlackBerry Classic is.

I spend many hours in meetings and configured the Classic to flash different colours for different messaging apps or contacts.

Have set WhatsApp to "green", but just not getting the desired effect, so wondering whether the DTEK60 can only flash RED?

There is no RGB led, only red.

Someone needs to write an app to allow customizing the LED notifications. Since it is only red, maybe control the pulse rate. A single pulse, a double pulse, triple pulse etc. Something like Morse code for dummies

This is unfortunate. It's the only thing that's giving me second thoughts about getting the DTEK60. I held off the DTEK50 for that reason. I wonder if the Mercury will have RGB.. I'm not sure about the screen aspect ration or keyboard though. The fingerprint reader also looks like it will gather dirt as it is recessed..

It sucks. I moved from the Z10. Same thing, used the multi-color function of the LED to indicate different levels of importance. Funny thing is, the BlackBerry Virtual Expert for the DTEK60 has an LED test to flash RGB colors, but only red will appear.
