I haven't "bought" a phone for 3 or 4 years, thanks to the "Marketplace".
My plan was to wait till the Keyone was released, then either buy that, or find a Dtek60 at a reduced price, as I did with the first Z30 I bought.
I keep waiting for the 60 to go way down in price, but as it was a limited production model, and now it's not on Shopblackberry, I'm afraid of completely missing the bus!! I really like the Keyone, but I think arthritis has won - I had problems with the Classic, so I don't want to be disappointed again. :-(
So I ordered a Dtek60 from B and H and hope I won't regret it. I like my Dtek50, but 16 GB disappears very fast.
    Wish me luck!!

Very good price. Toronto Kijiji prices are still high. Average 450-500$

It is exactly like that, you never know what you will get or if your device will ever get blacklisted. I almost bought a KEYone for $550.

I bought my Dtek60 on pre-order when it came out, no regrets. Just make sure you get screen protector and case. It's a slippery bugger.

Just got it yesterday. Haven't set it up yet. I agree. Already have a thin soft case, but waiting for a dualpro case because the camera is exposed. I hope it doesn't make it too bulky. It is too big already!! Though it seems thinner than my Dtek50.

I have both keyone and DTEK 60. I must say last night I started up my dtek and it seems much faster now than my keyone. While I really like the feel and pkb of the KEYone I'm beginning to re-think abandoning the DTEK . Dilemma ...dilemma. Enjoy the 60

incipio duopro case is perfect for the DTEK60. Bulk is minimal and well worth the protection for this premium device.

Had a DTEK60 just under 2 weeks and it is an amazing piece of kit out of all proportion to its price. Phenomenal screen , very responsive virtual keyboard a very good camera, speedy battery charging via the supplied battery charger and the usual BlackBerry benefits of excellent reception and call quality. So far I've nothing but praise for it. Sadly it is BlackBerrys best kept secret.

No disagreement there Peter. Let's hope the software updates keep coming and the DTEKs get Nougat.

To be honest Roadie BlackBerry were slow with the Marshmallow update. So I think we might just get Nougat after all. These handsets can be purchased brand new for about 420 GBP and as such are an amazing bargain.

I'm also hoping we get a more powerful version perhaps with 6GB of RAM and a top spec DAC for decent sound quality.

Was just reading Kevin's blog and his feeling is the DTEK series won't likely get Nougat. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to keep current.

Maybe I read it wrong, but my impression is that he said it might get Nougat because it is easier to do the security updates if all the phones are on the same OS.

By the way, I just set up my new Dtek60 2 days ago. It took a long time, but now I have it pretty much the way I like it. Good thing I used the 50 for a few months to get used to Android!!!

Was doing the exact same thing, watching shop blackberry and then all the phones were gone, poof...

Went the same route and bought from B&H couple days right before you. Had the phone now almost two weeks and loving it so far. The 50 and 60 have both enjoyed so far.

I'll wait the same way for 6 months or so before I try KEYone so all the bugs ironed out....I didn't and don't expect Nougat for PRIV or either DTEK. I'm a realist.
