I just got the DTEK 60. First impressions are very good. This is a surprisingly good phone. I wasn't expecting much, but everything is loaded up and running smooth. Let's see how it hold out.

I am happy with DTEK60... only one issue...battery drains quick. I don't see 3000mah battery backed in the mobile.... rest all is cool!

I don't have Dtek50 so can't compare the size. DTEK60 quite light to hold and use.

Have had my DTEK60 since late 2016. Loving it! Miss some aspects of BB10 on my Z30, but could not go back at this point.

I have nothing bad to say about my DTEK60 really. It works really well and I rarely have to restart it for any reason. The only thing that I would have changed was the back plate, but I always intended to keep it in a hard case so it wasn't much of an issue ultimately.

Being a long time BlackBerry user starting with the Bold the the Z10 and then finally to the Passport there is no better phones out there. Once my Passport took a swim I needed something cheap and quick and since the Dtek60 isn't on any carriers here in Ontario I got a no name Android phone. It was ok but I wanted the Dtek60 bad!

Finally saved up a bit of spending cash and bought it last week and I absolutely love it. I have to say, it's one of the best phones on the market and I would put it up against anything that Apple or Samsung have.

Glad to be back with BlackBerry and back in the forums here. It's been far to long.

I too have had my dtek 60 now for three weeks. I absolutely love the experience. Had a pixle, iPhone 7 and a one plus. If the dtek had ip67 going on I'd go e it 100 percent. But I'll give it a 97

I like my dtek60. I have had it since launch. Especially quick charge, the speakers and the screen. I do wish it didn't have a glass back, and I wish it were a bit thicker with a larger battery, but it's not necessary. I also wish I could get a better holster case, and a charging dock. Otherwise, looking forward to KEYone..

Love my DTEK60 after 5 months . Fast, great screen and speakers and good camera. Particularly like the screen mirroring - it's always the 60 used for this in our house rather than the wife and kids iphones. Solid battery life for me, usually 40-50+ per cent left at end of day after 2-3 hours varied OST. Had occasional battery drains, but seem to be sorted by clearing data and removing the odd app. Have also turned off as many permissions and removed as much Google stuff as possible.
Use a flip case out and about, but love the sleek and elegant feel uncased at home or in a coffee shop. Turning off all vibrations seems to make the performance even smother. Coming from a Classic and Q5 thought it might feel too big, but not the case at all. After completely unscientific testing would say web browsing generally slightly faster than the iPhone 6, slightly slower than the iPhone 7.
With the hub, security, monthly updates, nougart to come think it's a great phone at a good price.

I think every owner loved their Dtek 60 till the battery issue arose. Some got it fixed and some were left with bad taste .

Overall its a good phone with best performance. I'm in love with it more than before after battery replacement

I really love this phone, goes head to head to with my wife'a S7 edge, plus it also running the BlackBerry Hub.

camera is not as great as Samsung, but DTEK security and build quality are superb, it's such a shame this is so underestimated in the tech world

I love it, only problem is that the screen is very power hungry. the phone will last ages provided I don't use the screen. my only other grumbles are the power socket being off centre and the fingerprint sensor is a PITA to use when the phone is mounted in the car.

Love the quick charge feature as well, this makes up for the screen power usage. Just had to go out and buy new quick charge 3.0 chargers.

OLED screens, especially high-res OLED screens are extremely power-hungry and what's worse the consumption is content-driven (the "whiter" the content the more power OLED draws.) It just is what it is; this is the reason the KeyONE and Motion are IPS.

I have a lunar-eclipse image for my launcher background; it helps. So does setting every app that can do it in "night mode" or "dark background."

My car holder doesn't obscure the fingerprint scanner so it's not a problem to unlock when it's in the holder....

Haven't replied to some of threads lately so here goes.

I really like my DTEK60. So in a word I'm "satisfied". If any complaints it would be centered around the rear camera - good but certainly room for improvement for low light/shutter speed / high exposure concerns; battery life (gets hot occasionally and frequent battery drain); and a faster SOC would be welcome for some of the Android gaming apps. I know the Motion addresses some of these but not all.
Still waiting for BlackBerry and TCL to launch a phone that includes these improvements.

I think then and only then they'll be able to turn into becoming a real mobile competitor. They are making the right strides in that direction - just wish they'd get there faster.
