He is making perfect sense. If you owned a store would you continue to stock a brand of a product that continues to show it doesn't sell?If your answer is Yes then you wouldn't be in business very long.

LOLLLL
So does anyone know if there will be a Black Friday BlackBerry sale on their site?
You have to follow crackberry.com to know Blackberry is still releasing phones, so maybe send a link to your carrier. It's Blackberry's way to release phones in complete secrecy.
This is what we did to subsidize my son's Nexus phone that the carrier didn't sell at the time. Bought an iPhone at subsided cost and sold at below full retail price Took a while to sell the iPhone but we did eventually.
BlackBerry sales are dead even in Canada. People don't even know they have moved to Android. Carriers want phones that sell.
Does anyone know if this phone will be compatible with Wind? Maybe upgrade my wife's passport
phone is unlocked from BB.com, so it should def work.If you want 100% confirmation, call Wind and ask them. these are the comm specs for the network capability:
Attachment 412381
Ok. Thanks. Next question. Where can I pick one up ?
Really? Right here in the shop section or from shop.blackberry
Thanks. I have a priv, that's the last phone I bought so I'm was a little out of the loop when I seen that it wasn't avaliable through the carriers
I can only assume that sales weren't great for the dtek50 , BlackBerry 's announcement that they are out of the hardware business.
The general public thinks there is no longer BlackBerry branded devices being made.
Where is the attraction for the carrier?
650 at shop BlackBerry, what are you waiting on...go get it !
I'm under the impression Canadian carriers have a lot of market power, so they're good at squeezing both their customers and phone brands; Blackberry might simply not have the resources to get squeezed anymore. The cheapest plan I could find about a year ago in the maritimes was about $50-$80 CAD a month; in Mexico the cheapest plan is about... $15 CAD.
Geezes Christ... i didn't even know there is a new phone out from Blackberry... just found out 5 min ago!
Did anyone order it already? how long did it take to ship?
the order went through about 4 min ago.......
Thanks Crackberry
I expect that Canadian carriers will carry the Alcatel version if it were to be sold here. The market seems to want flagship or your $300-$400 phone. The security surcharge is not something consumers are willing to pay for.
