Hi all, is there a way to get the hub to recognise that something has already been viewed? Namely WhatsApp. Once I have read messages in WhatsApp they still show as unread in the hub.

As far as I can understand, it is NOT possible as Hub is not handling these type of messages natively, rather it is simply designed to show the message and direct you to the appropriate app for viewing. This is of course not the case with emails since Hub is the actual app with which emails are retrieved, viewed, composed, sent and deleted.

In order for other apps to 'talk back' to Hub it would require the app designers to allow it in their designs, something that is probably unlikely to happen given the relative low popularity of Hub in the overall global Android user base.
