Just FYI, that's the standard procedure on every Android phone

This learning curve isn't as steep with all the help in these forums, thanks again.

The minute I touch the down volume, it turns. Volume down before I can quickly press the power button. Hasn't worked for me.

Are you pressing them both at the same time? It takes a little practice.

Try pressing power slightly before volume down.

Does anyone know a short cut for this or if this can be added to the swipe up functions, I too find it a bit fiddly

Can I ask if there is a way to disable this feature? I've been accidentally triggering this very often.

    Thanks.

I don't believe there is a way to disable it.

For those having a hard time activating both buttons at the same time, there is a really easy way:

While enjoying a video in landscape mode, lay your phone down on it's long edge (power button facing down) so you can do something else with your hands..... Now, I was thinking about using the corner of a counter-top while cooking, but I don't know about you.... Then, if you want to change the volume, press any button to take a screenshot. Very useful and well thought out. Pretty sure dissenting voices were heard loud and clear in TCL's usability labs.

I seem to take screen shots by accident all the time, it's kind of annoying actually.

You are right. I contacted BlackBerry Help. They replied me there is no way.
