I bought my Dtek60 from Carphone Warehouse sim free. I received sporadic updates up to and including Sept 17 and since then nothing. Is there a way of obtaining and installing the monthly updates manually?

I am using my DTEK60 on EE and have received all updates that have been made available... contact your sim provider and / or carphone warehouse ... this should be able to be sorted.

I'm thinking mbafna that Blackberry is not going to do any major updates for the PRIV now. But it's not being entirely abandoned either. I'll explain Google does push out regular security updates even if sporadically to most of its phones and the PRIV is one of them so while Nougat won't be coming to it and the Dtek's seem to be in the same boat. The phones are still quite a good value and so regardless of the newest phones and their specs. The early BlackBerry Android phones are gonna be just fine.

The priv updates already halted some time ago.
And the dteks will follow sooner than later.

Got the January, yes January update today on EE Mobile UK, as usual I had to disable Google play.

My Dtek60 is on January and also has TERRIBLE battery life. I always get the updates last, so I don't expect Feb to happen very soon!!😢

Since doing the February update my battery drain is much higher than previous and I'm also getting random reboots again ><

I received the Jan update last week Saturday. Got the Feb update last night. Some apps are lagging though and I have not noticed any improvement in my battery
