My Priv loses service too often (X instead of 4G bars) so I am thinking of ordering the DTEK60. Otherwise I will have to reset my phone to get texts and use data / get calls and this happens at least 3-4 times a day especially when signal strength drops naturally. Does anyone know if a DTEK60 bought from shop BlackBerry with the same AT&T SIM card is susceptible to this no service issue?

Thanks in advance for those who somehow already have the DTEK60 on AT&T.

You'll need to wait for people to get it and test it.

It doesn't' have band 30, which AT&T does use in some more congested areas. Doubt it's a deal breaker....

It might have band 30, they claim 2300MHz LTE support on the specs page. I'm waiting for someone to get it on AT&T and test.

I'll have my DTEK60 soon (just ordered tonight) and have been having the "No Service" issue on my AT&T Priv for almost 2 months now.

I'll report back once it arrives and I pop my SIM in it and test it out.

Dunt Dunt Dunt, TI_Master, what does band 30 have to do with the no service issue that people like myself and kewlgirl73 have been experiencing on our AT&T Priv phones?

I got my dtek60 yesterday and was experiencing this issue at home, (on Bell Mobility in Ontario).

Changed my Network type from LTE&4G/3G&2G to 4G&3G&2G seems to improve the reception issue.

For the most part I have decent wifi at home but without cell network service difficult to text or talk.

I think the local tower is not fully LTE and the phone is looking for signal on a tower farther away.

Looks like AT&T/BlackBerry are working on a SW fix for the Priv, so hopefully that will trickle down to the DTEK60.
